The Journey of Encountering the Risen Christ
Text: John 20: 1-18
On Easter Sunday, as we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, we are reminded that the journey from doubt to belief is not a one-time event – it is a continuous, transformative experience for each of us. Mary Magdalene’s encounter with the risen Christ moves her from sorrow and confusion to the joy of recognition and belief.
Mary’s experience mirrors our own spiritual journeys, where moments of doubt, loss, and uncertainty give way to encounters with the living Christ – offering us new hope, renewed faith, and a mission to share God’s love with others.
