Faith ~ Hope ~ Love – in Action
We are women with a Purpose!
(find events below)
United Women in Faith/UWF (prev. UMW) is a community of women of all ages.
We seek to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship and education so that we can inspire, influence, and
impact local and global communities.
We gather to support one another’s spiritual lives, for creative supportive fellowship, and to encourage one another to self-giving service in the community and the world. We are a powerful, fearless force driven by God’s love and united in sisterhood. With a focus on women, children and youth, we act for justice and transform communities.
Bold action, like faith, takes courage. Our bravery is inspired by God’s love and our powerful commitment to improve the lives of women, children, and youth. United Women in Faith works for justice through compassionate service and advocacy to change unfair policies and systems that harm women, children, and youth—from racial and gender injustice to economic inequality, climate issues, and more.
Campbell UWF General Meetings (for all Circle members) are held twice a year:
the First Thursday of May and the First Thursday of December in the Fireside Room.
These meetings are followed by refreshments and a program.

The Campbell UWF Executive Board meets First Thursdays monthly, and all are welcome.
Write the Secretary at uwf @ campbellunited.org for the minutes or

General Meeting & Christmas Program – December 5th, 2024
Under each of our trees this Christmas time lie gifts, unseen, and perhaps unnoticed, beside the brightly wrapped packages. Yet these gifts are the most valuable, the most wonderful presents we can receive.
Come join the UWF on Thursday, December 5, 2024 in the Fireside Room as we discover The Twelve Gifts of Christmas.
As part of the program we will be making Christmas cards to go along with small gifts for our guests from the Safe Parking Program. Everyone is welcome!
The General Meeting is at 9:30am, followed by Brunch at 10:30am, and the Program at 11am.
(*Please bring your own beverage as we no longer provide them at our meetings.)
Please join us!
The bi-annual General Meeting of Campbell UWF is open to everyone, not just Circle members.

Do you know about the UWF Reading Program?
Reading Program
Reading Program book lists (catalogs) are available online. Books from the current list, as well as 5 previous years (that qualify for this year’s program) can be viewed and/or purchased from United Women in Faith Mission Resources or from your favorite bookseller.
Most of the books are available as e-books (for Kindle), some are available in braille and audio, and many can be found in your local library.
For over 150 years, United Methodist Women have been involved in mission that includes prayer, study and action, and the United Women in Faith continue that tradition. The Reading Program is a study opportunity, but it should also lead to action. The purpose of the program is to encourage United Women of Faith members to:
- Expand understanding of and participation in God’s mission.
- Increase sensitivity to all human beings—their needs, interests and concerns.
- Encourage critical thinking about issues facing humanity today.
- Grow in understanding of Scripture as it relates to Christian faith in contemporary life.
- Enhance self-knowledge and act from that knowledge.
- Strengthen involvement in local and global Christian mission.
