Come Visit!

Sunday Mornings

10:00 am in the Sanctuary
We are safely worshiping in the Sanctuary again!
(and streaming live on Facebook & YouTube)
We worship in a traditional style—with a masterful pipe organ and full chancel choir. But, we love all kinds of music— more contemporary songs accompanied by piano, African music accompanied by drums, children’s vocal choirs, and four levels of carillon (handbell) choirs can be heard here.

Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month.

*NOTE: Sunday School begins again on Sept 12th, 2021 (with covid safety precautions).
*Nursery care is not yet available.

Adults and children begin in worship together. About ten minutes in, children (pre-school through high school age) are invited to come to the front for a child-friendly message and prayer, and then go to Sunday School in our adjoining Education Building.
Loving childcare is available for infants and toddlers in a nursery. There is also a sound-protected room at the rear of the Sanctuary for young children who want to stay with their families in worship and who want to move around a little!

Hearing assistance devices are available.
Worship is fully accessible.

Dress: You will find here people in suits and ties, people in jeans and shorts, and people in traditional African dress. Come in clothes that are comfortable to you.

Sunday School
Sunday school classes are available for children ages 3-18 on Sunday mornings. Children are invited to join their parents for the first few minutes of the 10:00 am worship, and then follow their teachers into age level classes that are fun and engaging.

Child Care for Infants and Young Children
(not yet available)

Quality child care in a clean, well-equipped nursery is available during the worship service. Parents may be kept in touch by cell phone call or text message if their child needs them during the service. When you come to the Sanctuary on Sunday morning, a greeter or usher can direct you to the nursery.
All church-sponsored events have childcare available upon request.  Contact ChildCare@campbellunited.org

Adult Education – 8:50am in the Fireside Room – currently on hiatus
Meeting prior to the 10am service, across the courtyard from the Sanctuary; this is an opportunity for thoughtful discussion about matters of faith and theology.

Sundays for Youth
Middle school and high school age youth come to worship at 10am. After the “Word for Children,” early in the service, youth are invited to a Sunday School class (middle school or high school) or to remain in worship.

After worship on Sundays–

Coffee hour and Fellowship (as of July 2021, outdoors in the courtyard)
After worship (~ 11am), we have coffee and treats in the Fellowship Hall, across the courtyard from the Sanctuary.  We often have cake (!) to celebrate special occasions and periodically host pot-lucks, luncheons, and bbqs.
